Therapy can help whether you are old, young, male or female. Talking therapy is for anyone going through a bad time or have emotional problems that they need some help in sorting out.
It doesn’t matter if you have been dealing with issues for a long time or they have arisen from a recent incident, talking through in a therapeutic manner can make the world of difference and help organise your thoughts and help improve your mood.
Sometimes it’s important to recognise that its easier to talk to a stranger than to relatives or friends. During talking therapy you get to talk to a trained professional who is there to help and is not judging you.
The therapist will give you time to talk, cry, shout or just think. It’s an opportunity to look at your problems in a different way with someone who will respect you and your opinions.
Usually, you’ll talk one-to-one with the therapist.
